I wrote up a few thoughts on the new X-Men movie. Don't read it if you haven't seen the movie. The password is spoiler. It's not too coherent ye. I might revise my thoughts later and write a more intelligent review, but this is just my first gut reaction.
And just for fun, check out swarmthe.com. I haven't found it to be incredibly useful yet, but the idea is definately interesting and it's something worth seeing at least once. It's still developing so I imagine it has potential to become a lot bigger (remember, you heard it here first). Basically, Swarm compiles webpages from people who voluntarily allow their surfing to be tracked (excluding private sites like e-mail and bank accounts) and visually displays them for you to peak in at. You can see little red lines dash around as people surf to different pages. Potentially, you could find some interesting sites here. We'll see.

I had a recent conversation with Kevin and Yang (two of my roommates) about a cross between blogging and reality TV shows. The idea goes like this: we get Kevin onto a season of The Real World as a guy who just sits at his computer the entire time. He'd always be there, but always in the background. Never moving from his spot.
"Hey Kev, we're gonna play spin the bottle, you want in?"
"Nah, I've got to blog this."
The attractive girls on the show would keep trying to lure him into the jacuzzi, but each attempt would just give him more to write about. Well, maybe he'd join them once, but he'd have a special tray installed on the tub so he could bring his (waterproof) laptop in with him.
The entire season, he would be there recording everything, but never taking part. He'd have stories, but they would all be from the third person, like the person with the camera who takes all the pictures on the road trip but isn't in any of them.
So I don't feel too bad about putting my blog on the back burner. I've had a lot of life to be involved in lately. The thing I miss is sitting down and processing everything that's going on and then writing it out. A person can start to feel disconnected; not because they remove themself from life and think to much, but also by not allowing themselves to process the raw data that they're taking in. You start letting a backlog build up and only process each moment instead of taking time to absorb it.
Enough of that.
